Impressionism 2009 Calendars

A type of art that was dominant in the nineteenth century was Impressionism.  Originating in France, Impressionism spread to America, but took on a different form.  The 2009 Impressionism calendars pictured here feature French and American paintings.  Some of the best Impressionist painters of the time were Claude Monet, Renoir, Edgar Degas, Hassam, and Sargent.  The art itself was unique to the industry.  An art critic once called Monet's paintings useless.  It was good from afar, but not good up close.  These 2009 Impressionism calendars beg to differ, as they offer detailed and incredible paintings of dancers, scenery, and beaches.
