John Constable 2007 Calendars

Another British artist that became a household name in the 19th century was John Constable. He lived from 1776 - 1837. John Constable and J.M.W. Turner were the leading artists in Britain at the time. He attended the Royal Art Academy in Britain, but most of his work sold better in France. The 2007 John Constable calendar above shows some of his work from the 1820's. His work is on display at a number of museums and galleries in the United States.
