One of
the longest droughts from a team not called the Cubs is from
the Cleveland Indians. They last won the World Series
in 1948, a drought that is now approaching 60 years.
The 2009 Cleveland Indians calendars show a team that is
determined to end that streak. They play in the AL
Central, which is considered the best in the majors right
now as the Twins, White Sox, and Tigers are all vying for
the postseason. The Cleveland Indians 2009 calendar
also has the politically incorrect mascot, which has been
controversial at times. They play in Jacobs Field, a
great park that was opened in 1994. |
