One of
the lowest payrolls in all of baseball belongs to the
Milwaukee Brewers. In a market that needs revenue
sharing, the team has had trouble retaining top talent.
They were created in 1969 and were originally part of the
American League. The 2009 Milwaukee Brewers calendars
make note of that transition, as they are one of only a few
teams to play in both leagues. They switched to the
National League in 1997 to balance out the divisions.
The Milwaukee Brewers have never won the World Series, but
they did play in the Series in 1982. Since 2001, they
have played their games in Miller Park, a gorgeous new
ballpark. The Milwaukee Brewers 2009 calendars may
quiz you on some of their best players, including Robin
Yount, Henry Aaron, Cecil Cooper, and Paul Molitor. |
