battle their way in the American League's west division.
The genius, Billy Beane, has constructed a team that is not
only inexpensive, but also extremely competitive. The
Oakland A's are one of the few, if not the only, major
league baseball team with a small payroll and a winning
record. The 2009 Oakland A's calendars give you a
choice between a desk calendar and a page-a-day one.
There is also a wall calendar available. One of the
sluggers the team picked up in the offseason was Frank
Thomas. He has helped the Oakland A's with over 25
home runs on the year. Hopefully, he will slug some
