Edmonton Oilers 2009 Calendars
|
They
were established in 1972 as the Alberta Oilers, but changed
their name to the Edmonton Oilers after just one season.
In their short lifetime, they have won five Stanley Cup
championships. The 2009 Edmonton Oilers hockey
calendars shows a team that is coming off another trip to
the Finals. Although they lost to Carolina, the team
fought valiantly to the end. The Edmonton Oilers of
the 1980's were considered by many to be one of the greatest
sports teams of all time. They won four titles in five
years with Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Paul Coffey and Jari
Kurri. The current Edmonton Oilers are seen in the
2009 calendar. They include Captain Jason Smith, Ethan
Moreau, and Ryan Smyth. |
