Part of
the NHL's expansion in 1992, the Tampa Bay Lightning are now
one of the veteran teams in the league. In the last 15
years, many franchises have changed cities or were part of
new expansion, but the Lightning stayed put. As a
result, they have built a strong fan base. The 2009 Tampa Bay Lightning desk calendar shows the bolt logo on
each page. The team won their first Stanley Cup in
2004, immediately before the league-wide lockout. The
Tampa Bay Lightning 2009 calendar is great for writing
appointments and game times. Their best skaters are
Tim Taylor and Vincent Lecavalier. There is currently
no team captain. The last to hold the distinguished
honor was Dave Andreychuck. |
