The
comic strip created by Tom Wilson was called Ziggy. He
first came onto the scene in 1968 in an American Greetings
publication. Three years later, Ziggy would show up in
a comic strip in a newspaper. He was a short, bald man
who always wore a long shirt, but never had any pants.
The 2009 Ziggy calendars show the man at different points in
his everyday life. Ziggy was a man who appeared to
have no hobbies and no profession. He always seemed to
have his dog Fuzz around at every instant. He also had
a duck as a sidekick as you can see in these Ziggy 2009
calendars. Ziggy has shown up elsewhere, in
television shows and such, but mostly remains a newspaper
funnies guy. |
