Horse Racing 2009 Calendars

The
equestrian sport of horse racing has existed for hundreds of
years. Although there are many events, the most well
known are the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness, and the Belmont
Stakes. Those horse races are run every year with
three year olds. The 2009 Horse Racing calendar on the
left focuses on that type of racing. The 2009 Hunters
and Jumpers calendar
on the right looks more at the equestrian side of the sport
that involves hunting and jumping. The sport has
declined significantly in the last fifty years as other
sports play better on television and are more fast-paced.
