The
symbol of the Democratic Party has long been the donkey.
The Democrats are also very much against hunting, so this
Donkey Hunting t-shirt is appropriate for today's
conservative. The shirt shows the little, red, white,
and blue donkey with a scope bearing down on it for target
practice. While the symbol of the Republican Party is
the strong elephant, the donkey was established for the left
in Harper's Weekly in the late 1800's. It was
originated by Thomas Nash, the same man who created the
Republican Party logo. The party chairman is currently
Howard Dean, a man who conservatives despise. |
