The shirt simply reads "Infidel", which means someone who does
not accept a particular faith. The Infidel t-shirts
refer especially to Christianity or Islam.
The
literal definition of infidel is one without faith. It
is meant to be a cruel and hostile thing to say to a person,
but the word simply means that one rejects organized
religion. The Infidel t-shirts seen above show that
someone is an unbeliever. It is most commonly used in
the Roman Catholic church and in the Islam. The
Catholics used the term heretic to describe nonbelievers,
while Islam uses the term infidel. A heretic strays
from the doctrine, whereas an infidel never believed in the
doctrine to begin with. This Infidel t-shirt will poke
fun at those who do not believe.
